Rider University will be randomly selecting three students who have gotten one of the FDA-approved vaccines to get free tuition.

Students must submit proof of vaccination by Aug. 1 to be eligible and those who had been given the shot earlier this year are eligible.

The deal is for the fall 2021 and spring 2022 semesters and can include up to 15 undergraduate credits, nine graduate credits and 12 continuing education credits for each semester. One undergraduate, one graduate and one continuing education student will be chosen, the school said on its website.

Students won’t have long to wait to find out if they’re one of the lucky three. University officials will contact the winners on Aug. 5.

Rider University said all students are required to be vaccinated against the coronavirus if they’re returning to campus for the fall 2021 semester. If a student does not submit proof of vaccination by the Aug. 1 deadline they will not be allowed to attend in-person classes, live in residence halls or access campus unless granted an exemption, university officials said.
