Wahl Clipper Corp. on Thursday issued a voluntary recall for select heat massagers due to a potential fire hazard.
The recall affects only Deluxe Heat Therapy Massagers Model 4212, according to a company statement shared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Per the recall notice, the connection between the massager and heat attachment can overheat, causing smoke or a spark and posing a potential fire hazard.
“We will facilitate the free return of your unit in exchange for a full refund plus an additional $10 for this inconvenience. Your safety is important to Wahl Clipper Corporation,” the company stated in its recall notice.
