Cole Swindell’s Mom, Betty Carol Rainey, Has Passed Away: ‘Gonna Miss Her So Much’

Cole Swindell shared heartbreaking news yesterday on his Instagram story that his mother, Betty Carol Rainey, has passed away.

The death of Cole’s mother comes 8 years after the unexpected passing of his father in September 2013, when Swindell’s career was beginning to take off.

Rainey’s age or cause of death has not been announced yet.

Cole is scheduled to return touring on Thursday as the opening act on Thomas Rhett’s Center Point Road Tour. No further details have been released if Swindell’s appearance on the tour is now in question.
