Nothing is official yet, but indications are growing stronger that Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson are taking their friendship to a higher level.

Davidson celebrated his 28th birthday in Palm Springs, California, with Kardashian and her mother, Kris Jenner, People reported. The magazine, citing an anonymous source, said Davidson and Kardashian “had a great time” together.

“Pete is back in New York City now, but Kim had a great time with him in Palm Springs,” the source told the magazine. “They were very affectionate and seem more serious. He is very sweet to Kim. She is smitten.

“They have plans to see each other again soon.”

E! Online, also quoting an anonymous source, said the 41-year-old reality television star and the “Saturday Night Live” star are officially dating.

“They are really happy and seeing where it goes,” the source told E! Online. “Pete has told her he doesn’t want to see anyone else.

“She is telling some people they aren’t super serious but she isn’t seeing anyone else. She’s trying to not make a big deal about it but is super into him.”

Neither star has confirmed or denied the romance rumors.

Kardashian and Davidson first sparked romance rumors in October, when they were photographed holding hands on a rollercoaster ride in Southern California, People reported.

The following week, Davidson took Kardashian to a private dinner in Staten Island, New York, the magazine reported.

The pair also connected when Kardashian hosted “SNL” for the first time last month, E! Online reported. The two stars shared an online kiss while playing Aladdin and Jasmine in a sketch.
