Carrie Underwood could potentially play Dolly Parton in a biopic proposed by Dolly’s family. Others considered to play the role of Dolly include Sabrina Carpenter, Sydney Sweeney and Hilary Duff.

The Parton family’s first step is to get the biopic set up and scripted under a Hollywood studio. A source says, “A big-screen treatment would focus firmly on Dolly’s adult career, her rise to fame and business success, and her unlikely Hollywood film career that began in the early ’80s.”
