Help Uvalde Families and Survivors with the San Antonio Area Foundation and Bexar County

Bexar, TX — Bexar County D.A. launches fundraising effort to directly help victims of Uvalde school shooting

WHAT:       Bexar County District Attorney Joe Gonzales has sent the office’s Crime Victims Services Coordinator to Uvalde to help victims of Tuesday’s shooting at Robb Elementary School. DA Gonzales is working with the San Antonio Area Foundation to establish two funds that would turn over 100% of the proceeds to families directly impacted by the shooting or provide long-term assistance to the Uvalde community. Donations may be made online here.

WHY:         The Children’s Bereavement Center helps young people and their families to cope with the sudden death of students or faculty members.
