Hiraoka and Clark Win Men and Women's Snowboard Half-Pipe Events.
Kelly Clark of USA and Japan's Taku Hiraoka won the World Cup snowboard half-pipe competitions at Sochi, Russia on Thursday (February 14). The events were a chance for the riders to sample the facilities which will be used for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games at the resort in less than a year. Japan's 17-year-old snowboard rider Hiraoka took his first World Cup win with an assured run including a frontside 1080 and a double cork 1080.
