The experts will discuss the realities and strategies employed by successful nonprofit newsrooms and media organizations serving the public interest.
Best-Practice Lightning Round Presentations10:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.Six INN members will make five- to ten-minute presentations about a key growth and/or revenue driver for their organization. Each presenter will focus on the revenue projections, cost of acquiring the revenue, any risks and the strategic benefit to their organization. Following the presentations, there will be a 30-minute Q&A.

A Conversation with Google's Dave Gehring1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. According to Google’s Dave Gehring, the person now responsible at Google for engaging the news media and having them leverage the full-suite of Google products, “the economics for news is increasingly looking stronger.” INN’s Kevin Davis will have a one-on-one conversation with Dave and explore why and what Google is doing to help. Q&A to follow.
