Yara Roberts hosted the PBS Emmy-nominated Cook's Tour television series; has been featured in Ultra Travels and the New York Times; and is the subject of Delicious Brasil, a new series about Brasilian cooking and lifestyles that is in production for American and Brasilian audiences. During her lively presentation, she will explore the foods and customs from the regions of Mina Gerais, Bahia, the Amazon and the Cerrado; give you insight into regional flavor profiles; and demonstrate traditional techniques. You'll sample these dishes with Brasilian wine: Pao de Queijo; Deep Fried Manioc; Pork Roast, Villa Rica-style, stuffed with Dried Fruits; Black Bean Puree with Fragrant Tomato Sauce; Crispy Collard Greens; and Corn Creme Brulee.
