South Texas Heritage Pork presents our 2nd Annual Fine Swine Cook-Off and Flavor Fest. A fun-filled day of food, music and activities. Four culinary schools compete for cash and prizes in an on-site, snout-to-tail competition. South Texas Heritage Pork will provide our custom fed, peanut finished, pastured heritage pork for this Snout-To-Tail competition. Teams will consist of 5 currently enrolled culinary students and 1 instructor. Culinary teams will be: The Art Institute of America - SA The Culinary Institute of America - SA San Antonio Foodbank Culinary Judges (check back frequently, still confirming judges): John Besh John Russ Steve McHugh David Gilbert Bryce Gilmore Ernest Servantes Julia Rosenfeld Jennifer McInnis Michael Sohocki Live Music: The Groove Factory Food Trucks: DUK Truck Say.She.Ate Where Y'At Open Division: One dish, prepared on site, humanely raised, locally sourced. Pie Eating Contest: Pies By Ms Chocolatier VIP Beverages: Ranger Creek Beer / Pedernales Wines Cash bar: Alamo Beer / St Arnolds / Guadalupe Brewery Tickets: General Admission tickets $35 and will include entry, parking, live music, pie eating contest, tastings, spectator for the competition. Cash bar. VIP tickets $75 and will include upgraded tastings, VIP parking and seating located near the judging table, local beer and wine included (Ranger Creek / Pedernales Wines).
