A gloriously funny and deeply felt story about three bereaved sisters who have come together for the funeral of their mother. Witty rebuttals give way to festering resentments; booze and dope-fuelled hilarity to sudden glimpses of buried secrets and aching pain, all resulting in quarrels over the funeral arrangements, their well-worn family roles, their unsatisfactory men, and their mixed memories of their dearly departed mother.
