TSS is signed on the Militia Group and released their first EP on September 30th, 2008 titled “…In Color”. In December of 2008 The Summer Set realeased their EP “Meet Me On The Left Coast” which inculded their Christmas single, “Love By Our Side”, a b-side titled “Can You Find Me” and an Usher cover, “Love In This Club” as a bonus track. The Summer Set announced in April 2009 that they were heading into the studio to record their debut album, “Love Like This” which was released on October 13th, 2009. On July 6th,2011, they re-released "Love Like This" and included a second disk that was composed of Taylor Swift covers and titled it "Love Like Swift". It is sold exclusively at Wal-Mart and Walmart.com. After Love Like This, the group went on tour…and never really stopped, playing 300 shows a year with a slot on The Glamour Kills stage for the 2010 Vans Warped Tour. The band released their second full length, "Everything's Fine" on July 19, 2011. For the album, the group spent some time songwriting with Paul Doucette of Matchbox 20 and Mike Daly of Whiskeytown in Nashville, and recording with veteran producer John Fields. Besides finishing a new record, the band has been busy recently opening for All Time Low and Yellowcard, as well as experiencing their music in a whole new context: blanketed all over television, from VH1 to “Jersey Shore” to, most notably, “Dancing with the Stars.” We Are the In Crowd Similar Artists: Tonight Alive | The Summer Set | All Time Low | Hey Monday | We are the in Crowd feat. Alex Gaskarth We Are the In Crowd is an American pop punk band from Poughkeepsie, New York, formed in 2009. The band consists of Taylor Jardine (vocals), Jordan Eckes (guitar/vocals), Mike Ferri (bass guitar), Rob Chianelli (drums), and Cameron Hurley (guitar). They released their debut EP, Guaranteed To Disagree, on June 8, 2010 and followed it up with their first full-length album, Best Intentions in 2011. In April 2009, We Are the In Crowd's Myspace page was hacked. The hacker deleted all of their friends and music. The music site Absolutepunk.net posted a news article regarding the hacking, and the news post attracted the attention of someone at Hopeless Records who contacted the band shortly after. On November 10, 2009, the group announced their signing with Hopeless Records as "The In Crowd" and released their first single "For The Win" on iTunes. The band changed their name to "We Are the In Crowd" due to trademark issues with a reggae band from the seventies who were also called "The In Crowd" In February 2009, We Are the In Crowd recorded their debut Hopeless Records EP with producers Zack Odom and Kenneth Mount (All Time Low, Mayday Parade, Jimmy Eat World, Cartel). The EP, titled Guaranteed To Disagree, was released on June 8, 2010. The music video for "Both Sides Of The Story" was officially released on October 15, 2010. The music video for "Never Be What You Want" was released on April 20, 2011. The band performed on the Vans Warped Tour for Summer 2010. The band entered the studio in early May 2011 to begin recording their full length debut. On August 3, 2011 it was announced the album would be titled Best Intentions and that it would be released on October 4. It debuted on the U.S. Billboard 200 at No. 122. Despite the early success, 2011 promises to be the band’s most pivotal moment to date.   Tapping the legendary Tim O’Heir (The All-American Rejects, Hot Rod Circuit, The Starting Line, Say Anything) to man the console for LUCKY STREET, the 13 tracks showcases the producer’s knack for crafting inherently addicting ear candy. The production, and the awe-inspiring musicianship underpinning the songs, serves as an unmatched springboard for LANCASTER’s impassioned writing.   Mortality is not an unknown theme in GO RADIO’s music--the passing of LANCASTER’s father in August 2007 has inspired some of his most heart-rending compositions. But on LUCKY STREET the songwriter expands his scope on the subject with brilliant results, as on “Singing With The King,” which even goes on in its second verse to compile an “all-star band” in heaven complete with friends, family and long-lost legends Elvis, Johnny Cash, Keith Moon and Freddie Mercury.   Fans will also recognize a re-recorded version of “Forever My Father,” the tearful ballad that closed the Welcome To Life EP. Originally penned and recorded along with LANCASTER’s siblings Erin and Daniel shortly after their father’s passing, it’s one of the most personal, emotionally vulnerable works ever recorded in popular music.    Inspired by the moment and desiring to leave a copy of the song with his father before his burial, LANCASTER enlisted a friend with a recording studio to help track the composition immediately, resulting in the stirring performance heard on Welcome To Life. Approaching the song again for LUCKY STREET, LANCASTER says GO RADIO attempted to focus on the heart of the composition, instead of bogging the meaning down in heavy production gloss and arrangements.
