In honor of Get Organized Month, professional organizers and Goodwill are teaming up for "Clear Your Clutter Day," an event that combines free document shredding and the convenient donation of unwanted items at the same time. NAPO San Antonio, the local chapter of the National Association for Professional Organizers, is sponsoring the event. The first letter-sized box of documents will be shredded for free. An additional letter-sized box is $5 and an additional legal size box is $8. In addition, San Antonians are encouraged to bring unwanted household items to Goodwill for Clear Your Clutter Day. Goodwill's donation station attendants will be on hand throughout the day to assist in unloading donated items and providing tax receipts. Items especially in demand at Goodwill include computers and electronics; furniture, antiques, framed artwork; cookware, dishes and house wares; clothing, jewelry and shoes; games, toys and sporting goods; and books, lamps and office supplies.
