Trinity University Walks - Monte Vista

This walk is sponsored by Randolph Roadrunners Volkssport Club and includes two 10km/5km walks; routes may be walked twice on the same start cards for 20km Distance Credit. It is open to all and families are encouraged to participate. Children under age 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Everyone participating must register and carry a start card and turn it in at the finish. The walk starts from 8:00 am until noon and finishes no later than 3:00 pm. The Monte Vista walk takes walkers by older homes, the Japanese Sunken Gardens, and part of the Trinity campus. This walk is considered easy and is normally on pavement or well-maintained trails. Strollers may need to be carried at times; not suitable for wheelchairs. The Trail Rating is 1A. The fee for all participants is $3.00. “B” Awards are available for an additional $2.00. There are no refunds. All participants must register and carry a start card. There is no preregistration. Awards from previous Roadrunners events will be available for a nominal fee. Participants 12 years of age and under who complete the event will receive a free award of their choice from the display board.
