Jim Peyton, Cookbook Author & Cooking Instructor (FOR AGES 18 & UP) HANDS-ON. Tamale making is a time-honored tradition that has special meaning during the holidays. In this unique hands-on-class, Jim will share his knowledge about a singular food that can take on so many different flavors. Menu includes: Foolproof Tamale Dough; Tex-Mex Tamales with a Rich Pork Chile Filling; Rajas & Cheese Tamales (Sautéed Poblano Chiles & Onion with Panela Cheese); Huitlacoche Tamales (Hitlacoche with Wild Mushrooms, Sweet Corn & Brandy);and White Chocolate, Blueberry & Pine Nut Tamales. $65 CLASS TIME: 6:30-9 PM Students must dress with safety in mind. Please wear completely closed shoes, no sandals. Long hair should be pulled back and up.
